Daniel De La Torre
becomes La Salle's first Cross country State Champion. |
|
| |
De La Torre is no
longer a king without a kingdom, he's on top of the world having achieved
his goal of winning a California State cross country title. This Lancer
proved that having a goal and working towards its accomplishment will reap
huge results. This did not come easy however.
Danny ran in the morning, afternoon, and evenings on occasions and was
frequently bolstered by friendly neighbors who would give him water as he
passed by. So to all that contributed, a big thanks goes out to you TEAM

Danny De La Torre missed the course
record by 5 seconds in winning the Fastback Shootout for the third
consecutive year. DDLT easily finished with the fastest time of the day.
