Special thanks to Ken and Kathy Smith for their generosity and dedication to the track program. Lisa Housman, thanks and see you in two years. You certainly know how to raise a daughter. Thanks for the memories in the form of the wonderful pictures I received this year from Paul and Girlie Sitker (plus the great snacks), Bill Dyson, and especially the Lee's, Scott and Isabel, for their warm friendship and dedication to the track program over the past 6 years. Thanks to my assistant coaches for whom most of the credit is due. I unfortunately steal their accolades because many times only the head coach's name is mentioned in the media. There is no doubt that without them the La Salle track and field program, as we know it, would not exist. So thanks, David, David, David, Antoine, Javier, Joe, John and Duane, the best friend anyone could possibly have. Finally, thanks to my lovely wife for allowing me to do what I love, coaching track and field. Few men are fortunate enough to have a wife that totally understands and fully supports their need to be away from home so much.

Kjersti Housman prepares for Azusa Pacific were she will participate in both Basketball and Track. She leaves a La Salle legacy unlikely to be surpassed anytime soon.

As mentioned at the banquet, Dan Minguez will be next season's boys team captain. I am very confident the Dan will serve with vigor. He brings all the requisite attributes: diligence, persistence, and integrity. The girl's captain is Erin DaSilva, the first junior captain in the team's history.
