8th Period Track workouts begin Tuesday, November 15 @ 3:00 on the track.

Bring running shoes (not vans), shorts, t-shirt and sweats (it's cool and you don't want to cool down too rapidly)

Practice times during 8th period are Tuesday - Thursday 3:00 to 4:45. These times are valid up to the week of the final exams. Practice will be suspended from the final exams to the first Tuesday following the Xmas vacation.

There will be an important meeting of all new and returning track athletes after school on January 4th in room 306. This meeting will cover the meet  & practice schedules, team rules, out of town meets, and our new custom uniforms.

On campus, contact: Coach Riley, Coach Ring, or Coach Holyfield for further details.

Track season officially begins on January 23. At that time practices will be Monday-Friday 2:45 to approximately 5:15 PM.

Lancer Girls Come Up Big @ CIF Division Finals

 

Itohan Aikhionbare Wins the Shot (#2 LS all-time) Put and Qualifies for the Masters

La Salle Girls finished in the top-ten (#9) of the division for the 13th time in school history. Also had the highest finish of any of the area's girl teams.

Itos Pulls a two-fer by qualifying for the Masters in the Discus, becoming the first individual La Salle athlete to qualify for two events in the same Masters meet.

Winning the Shot Put makes Itohan Aikhionbare a two time CIF champion and also one of the all-time best track and field athletes in La Salle history

The Big Performance of the Day @ the San Gabriel Valley Championships

The Girls F/S 400 & 1600 Relay teams ran to the 2011 championships.

 

Alessandra Gonzales winning the F/S Girls 100 meter championship

Itohan Aikhionbare wins the Varsity Girls Discus Championship with a personal best mark, making her the #2 all-time for the SGV Championships.

Alexandra Ghantous winning the F/S Girls 400 meter championship and becoming the San Gabriel Valley Championship meet's #9 all-time 400 meter sprinter and #3 LS all-time.

 

Bryce Shaw takes the F/S Boys Discus Championship with a personal best throw.

Pam Klein leaps onto the top-ten list in the Long Jump. She moves to #8 LS all-time.

Michelle improves her mark on the Long jump top-ten list and she won the Triple Jump. Diran won the triple jump.
