8th Period Track workouts begin
Tuesday, November 15 @ 3:00 on the track.
Bring running shoes (not vans),
shorts, t-shirt and sweats (it's cool and you don't want to cool down too
rapidly)
Practice times during 8th period are Tuesday -
Thursday 3:00 to 4:45. These times are valid up to the week of the final
exams. Practice will be suspended from the final exams to the first Tuesday
following the Xmas vacation.
There will be an important meeting of all new and
returning track athletes after school on January 4th in room 306. This
meeting will cover the meet & practice schedules, team rules, out of
town meets, and our new custom uniforms.

Track season officially begins on January 23. At
that time practices will be Monday-Friday 2:45 to approximately 5:15 PM.
Itohan Aikhionbare finishes 20th
the in the State and is named to the 2011 all-area Track and Field team

Itohan Aikhionbare joins a very select group of
area athletes to make the trip up to Clovis for the 92nd California Track
and Field State Championship.

Wins the Shot (#2 LS all-time) Put and
Qualifies for the Masters
La Salle Girls finished in the top-ten (#9) of the
division for the 13th time in school history. Also had the highest finish of
any of the area's girl teams.
Itos Pulls a two-fer
by qualifying for the Masters in the Discus, becoming the first individual
La Salle athlete to
qualify for two events in the same Masters meet.

Valley Championship meet's #9 all-time 400 meter sprinter and #3 LS
all-time.
Bryce Shaw takes the
F/S Boys Discus Championship with a personal best throw.
