"Medicine Man"             "Lorenzo's Oil”      

 "Outbreak"                “And the Band Played On”

Each can be rented from any video store. While the overriding themes of each of these movies are based upon scientific topics. We are most interested in how each movie depicts the use of Scientific Method or the Inquiry Based approach to solving scientific problems. In an essay, cite at least five (5) scenes from the movie that demonstrate the use of scientific method. Summarize each scene and provide your insight into how this scene represents the use of the scientific method in solving this problem. The essay should be 2 to 3 pages typed, double spaced, with one inch margins. This essay is worth 30 points. You will lose 5 points for each day it is late and no essays will be accepted the Friday after the original due date.
